About Us
The Coventry Empowered African Women Group was established by Mrs. Ruth Ngwata three years ago. Her aim is to support, advocate for, and promote African women's heritage.
CEAWG is comitted to - support, advocate, and promote African women in the community by providing necessary information about different available services that meet their needs. promote women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choice, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.
• To support women with different services such as, carrier advises, interpreter, health life style, Advise and counselling, kids supporting group and also provide different workshops to promote the awareness of our culture to our children and some other problem that an African women account every day in the British society.
• Also provide support in the advancement of citizenship or community development. This support will be focused on social and the community best interest rather than the individual
We believe that African women can embrace who they are, define their future, and change the world. We work towards creating an environment where African women and girls can realize their full potential and become agents of change in their communities.
